Milestone South were engaged to prepare a Transport Assessment, Residential Travel Plan, Delivery & Servicing Plan, and Parking Design and Management Plan (PDMP) in support of a development proposal comprising the erection of 194 residential units, 60 car parking spaces, private and communal landscaped amenity areas, landscaped podium deck, secure cycle parking and refuse stores.

The delivery by MTP, of a high-quality mitigation package comprising the implementation of a 20-mph zone, provision of a raised table / pedestrian crossing, the creation of a public realm and loading bay along Westmoreland Road, and on-site car club bay, ensured that the development proposals would have an immaterial impact on the local highway network. Further, it was acknowledged by the LBoB’s Highways Officers that the extension of the CPZ and use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system would prevent the potential for overspill parking on the local area. The project was successful with Planning consent was awarded by the LBoB on 28th December 2018.
